Best minimalist launchers on Android!

Looking for an easy-to-use launcher that doesn’t require much effort and time to set up and personalize? Let me show what I found!

So, I know a lot of people who just want their phone to work, they are not looking for crazy customization options or anything like that. Sometimes you just want a straight forward launcher that doesn’t require much effort to organize. Let me show the best hassle-free launchers I could find.

Evie

Evie is a very nice and elegant launcher that aims to simplify the user experience. You swipe to the left to reveal all of the apps in a list view. You can also access your widgets and the launcher settings. Evie provides a very useful search bar that has Google Search, but also offers useful information on your searches. For example, say that you search for “The Martian”, Evie will display you the rating on Rotten Tomatoes as well as an option to search it on Google. Evie’s design takes the whole iOS style and puts it into the launcher. It looks good and works nicely.

Evie is free (with IAPs) on the Google Play Store.

Arrow Launcher

This launcher is developed by Microsoft, and it is great. It offers simplicity above all, and I like it. Arrow Launcher learns what apps you use the most and makes this page with the most used ones. The rest of the launcher is made up by a People, Reminders,Widgets, Recent and a Documents pages. You can swipe up form the bottom to reveal quick settings that reminds a lot to iOS. The whole design is also very reminiscent to that of iOS, but it is nice nonetheless. All-in-all this is a great launcher to consider.

Arrow Launcher is free on the Google Play Store.

ASAP Launcher

ASAP Launcher does a lot of things right, from the gorgeous material design to the adaptive color theme that matches your wallpaper, it just adds up to create an awesome launcher. You get something very similar (on its core at least) to Arrow launcher, in that it will recognize your most used apps and it will display them in the dock. You can swipe up to reveal the 15 most used apps. a swipe from the left edge of the screen reveals all the apps in an alphabetical list, and swiping from the right edge shows some shortcuts to things like the flash light and settings.

You cannot, however, use widgets, but you get a weather widget and a music widget. swiping to the other pages you’ll find a frequent contacts page, a weather page, a calendar page, and a notes pages (It reminds a lot to Arrow launcher, I know). But, as I said before, the design is perfect. It uses the full power of Material Design and takes the adaptive color theme from Action Launcher 3 to make a very nice experience. As you can tell by my writing, this launcher is personally my favorite.

ASAP Launcher is free (with IAPs) on the Google Play Store.
